Microbiology professor, and Director of the laboratory of Microorganisms
Ouzari Hadda-Imene is a professor of Microbiology and Director of the laboratory of Microorganisms and Actives Biomolecules at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis, University Tunis El Manar. The main research and teaching activities of Prof. Ouzari are focused on the identification and Biotechnological potentialities of microbes from different environments with special focus on microorganisms from extreme environments and beneficial microbes in argo-food and health related sector. She published about 100 peer reviewed papers and more than 2000 sequences. She has contributed in different national and international projects focusing on several aspects of Microbial Ecology. She also acts as the Tunisian am ambassador of the International Society of Microbial Ecology (ISME).
